I mistakenly believed (when booking) that they had full water hook-ups, but this I'm not sure what the logic is behind having individual water taps, and not having the option for a water hook-up, but it wasn't that big a deal for us If you're used to camping at Sandbanks, then you'll probably find these sites Kollam, India.

The sites are also located close to a comfort station with 3 or 4 showers and around 6 private toilets unisex. The campgrounds are lovely and well maintained.

It's not a small campground, and there are many hills. Unfortunately, the wood shed is right next to the entrance of the park which was quite a distance from our site. As we were driving an A-Class motorhome we had to either bike the distance carting our bike trailer not super feasible given the long winding hill up to the entrance or unhook our motorhome when we ran out of wood.

It's not that big a deal, you just need to make a point of buying more than enough wood on the way in on your first day. At night we found it exceedingly quiet and very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sites are very private and it was perfectly quiet after 10pm. Very nice place to camp and 10 minutes from downtown. Beaches are ok, I only say ok because of the goose poop but other than that the water was lovely. Washrooms were clean and functional.

Its a good place with mind cherishing beauty and ambience I loved walking the shady trails and the privacy of our site surrounded by trees. I would return even in high season as it's set up nicely for privacy even full. Deerfly were abundant and persistent in July swatted more than we can count, mosquitos not too bad, blackfly non existent. Loud yahoos with radios and guitars totally ridiculous at times, you can get that anywhere, all quiet at 10pm. Site with ft to electrical hookup with multiple linked extension cords not an issue everything worked.

Potable drinking water not signed at all, we guessed at the dump site just as well as taps not close enough to us to be helpful. No raccoons for a change, lots of birds. Watch out for the the snapping turtles at the leashed dog beach as they have just laid eggs, territorial and near the shore. Front office a little unfriendly, its a summer job people, but jeez it's my vacation make a little effort.
