Therefore, this research focused on proposing a path and design for a highway linking two urban areas within the city of Samarra, in the Salah Al-Din Governorate, northern Iraq. The first area is Qadisiyah neighborhood, which meets the highways that enter the city of Samarra.
The second area is the Old City, which is characterized by a large number of historic and archeological sites, and need a highway connecting them with the Qadisiya neighborhood to facilitate the arrival of visitors and residents to their archaeological sites. The route and design of the highway have been proposed according to AASHTO's international design standards, with a high capacity and level of service.

It achieves easy arrival between the two areas and their associated regions by choosing the best path for this road, taking into consideration the geometric design of the road that represents the shortest path, the lowest junctions two junctions , the lowest number of horizontal and vertical curves. The mosque measures x meters, and is set inside a nearly square outer enclosure of x meters. In the outer enclosure, there are 18 courtyard buildings. East and west of the qibla wall there are two larger portico buildings; behind the qibla wall is a main courtyard with four iwan halls, and one secondary courtyard.

The Abu Dulaf spiral minaret, 32 meters high, is smaller than the al-Mutawakkil minaret at Samarra but similar in every other way: positioned to the north of the mosque with a spiral ramp rising from a square base adorned with small recesses on each side.
The mosque itself has fired brick rectangular piers, and introduces for the first time in the east the T-plan with a wider axial nave and a double aisle parallel to the qibla wall. The portico on the courtyard has a double arcade of rectangular piers, while the prayer hall has sixteen arcades oriented perpendicular to the qibla wall.
