Helpful tourist information centre which also sells local crafts. Delicious food on every corner. Good place to admire talavera crafts and sample the traditional sweets.

While Puebla hasn't been the high point of my trip thats partly due to the cold wet weather and the impact this had on getting out and about. Two things I really enjoyed were the private museum and the city bus tour which takes you up to the exposition site and provides a great view of the city and the contrasts within the city. If you are going to this very modern museum make sure you get the audio guide - the displays were excellent but are not provided with English explanations.

The time line showing development of the different world civilisations was particularly good. Unfortunately only caught a glimpse of the freshly snow covered volcano from the bus as I was leaving town. Hangout at the zocalo or town square. Visit the churches, the Amparo museum which is free on Mondays.

Visit as many of the surrounding attractions as possible. Cholula, Cantona, Tlaxcala, the volcanoes. Don't overdo the vendor food and get sick like I did. Try get off the collectivo aka local bus at the right place otherwise it could be a lengthy detour. Apparently, I didn't count, there are over 2, monuments in Puebla Puebla is beautiful and there's a lot to do there! We didn't have enough time. We only stayed for 3 days and we were not able to explore what we wanted.

You definitely need many more days here! It easy to get around. Thankfully, Ubers are all over and the ones we got were very friendly and very knowledgeable! Our favorite spot so fat is the Zocalo. There are food stands there and there is a variety of food to try! You just can't go wrong with their food! The next time I go I will be able to provide more details! Puebla and nearby Cholula are wonderful places for 4 or 5 nights. Take the tourist bus to get an overview of Puebla. Do a free walking tour. Both different in size and techniques or machinery used and both very interesting.

Tours are either by donation or tip. Gift shop at the end but no pressure to buy. Take photos of the beautifully painted buildings.

Be sure and visit the Artisian market and artists barrio. Spend at least one full day in Cholula, visit the pyramid, walk to the top to see the church and go thru the tunnel. Tunnel is well worth the tour to really understand what you are seeing. Great hotel with an interesting and well-executed theme classical composers. My room had TWO full balconies with an excellent view of the downtown. Very friendly and helpful staff who speak Spanish and English. The room was a lot larger than I expected, and very clean.

Central location just steps from the Zocalo and a 15 minute walk to the Talavera museums. A fantastic boutique hotel, old monastery that the owners have kept the historical integrity but updated to bring necessary modern conveniences. Gorgeous decor through-out, walking distance to everything.

Staff were excellent. This hotel and city rivals anywhere I have stayed in Europe but far better value for a Canadian.

The staff are very helpful and kind. The breakfast is so delicious and you have a choice from about 10 dishes.

We would definitely recommend this great hotel! High quality, attractively designed boutique hotel a few minutes walk from the Centro Historico. Very comfortable beds, huge bathroom with great shower. Very good value for this quality. Staff very attentive. Food in the hotel restaurant excellent. Everything was perfect!!! I recommend the Italian restaurant for dinner. It was really amazing! Everything, staff very well trained, food amazing, clean and shinny. This place, for the price is the best option in Puebla City. Just a walking distance from town. Localisation is absolutely perfect.
