Service people were very nice and unobtrusive. Hotel was exceptionally quiet. Breakfast service was puzzling. Five waiters were on duty when we entered the buffet - we were the only people there. As we were eating on the terrace we had to carry everything outdoors - not one of the waiters offered to help.
They stood and watched us make about five trips. When we had trouble with the toaster, we had to ask them for help. It was as if we didn't exist. They barely noticed us. Wifi was excellent, bell men good, desk staff polite. Nice welcome with a cool fruit drink. Fantastic inner courtyard on two levels with green and fountains. A spectacular oasis. Room numbering a bit strange 2xy rooms are on the 1st floor.

Two beds twin. Two large chairs and a low table. More a fridge than mini bar, so if you have your own provisions there is plenty of space to cool them. A small desk in a niche, not near an electric socket unfortunately. But with an extension and unplugging one of the lamps on one of the bed stands I got electricity there. Large cupboard which I didn't use only staying one night.

A suitcase rack. Room was clean. No window going out, just to a hallway leading to the inner courtyard. No safe deposit box. Bathroom: Shower in a tub, a bit akward climbing in as it had a very high rim. Nice Grohe fixtures. All amenities provided. Hairdryer is provided but one of those where you have to keep pushing a button for it to work. Plenty of water easy to adjust to the right temperature. Exceptionally fast wifi. There are about 10 different ones so in the restaurant you log into a different one, but reconnect works fine.
Breakfast: Ok, not a big selection. Local and international food. Some juices. Needs to improve to meet international standards. Seating was outside which is nice if you can get a seat in the shade. However there are not spaces for everyone, so some people are left baking in the morning sun. Can't tell much about housekeeping and service since I only stayed one night, except that the exchange rate they offer for changing money is the worst I encountered in ten days hotels, shops, exchange shops.
But they are honest about it and tell you that the rate is better in exchange shops. Dad Hotel is one the top three hotels in Yazd. In my opinion its the best hotel in Yazd. Dad's architecture is unique as it is designed in traditional Yazdi building with bricks, but a very spacious and comfortable four-star hotel with all services. The location of Dad Hotel, with all services, makes it possible to walk in the old and traditional part of Yazd. Bazaar, mosque, and fire temple are all in walking distance.
A walk after dinner in the busy area of the old town is a pleasure. This hotel offers all services one expects from a four-star hotel. Restaurant and food service is good; in mild-weather the roof restaurant is a pleasant place to spend the evening. Log in to get trip updates and message other travellers.
