The staff in the hotel in particular the reception, the room service and the housekeeping are very friendly and ready to assist you. Compared to prices in other countries, it's good value. The first room we stayed in had a faulty air conditioner that couldn't be fixed by engineering, so we were promptly updgraded to a slightly better room. The stay in Parkroyal was very pleasant. The room was big and spacious. It is a relief to have internet access freely available in the room when mobile phone roaming service is non-existent. The lobby is nice. It is a great business hotel, centrally located. There's alot of taxis outside to roam around Yangon. Overall, our stay in Parkroyal was very good. Our stay at the Parkroyal was exceptional. The rooms were spotless and being on the Club Floor we enjoyed the benefits of the lounge especially cocktail hour! However, what set apart this hotel from others we have stayed in was the staff.
They were attentive, helpful and looked after all of us extremely well. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and will certainly be staying there again when next in Yangon. Service was good, everyone would always greet us with a smile and most of the staff would speak at least some English. Minor misunderstandings occurred, but these were quickly corrected: for example we had agreed to have a late check-out, but the day before our departure the front desk didn't find any mention of such an agreement on the computer.
However, they did allow us our late check-out without a charge when we insisted on it. The rooms were always meticulously cleaned.

The breakfast buffet had lots of variety Burmese, Western, Indian, Japanese and the quality of the food was generally good. A quiet pool area with 80's music was situated in the back. The bad side was that the hotel is really quite expensive by Yangon standards. The internet connection didn't work all the time a common problem in Myanmar, so we guess this wasn't the hotel's fault.

It makes getting around the city very easy and convenient. The staff are impeccable and service is excellent. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable! And the best selling point is the free Wifi!! The staff speak English well, so communication was not an issue. And they are very eager to help with directions and points of interests!! The hotel is near to Scott Market and can work around 10 minute to the market. Surrounding, there are safe and scurity to sight seeing at night.
