Miami 20 contributions 4 helpful votes. Hotel needs upgrading. While the check in process was smooth, the rooms require some serious upgrades, the carpets made the room smell very musty and old. The furniture needs upgrading if this is to be called a 5 star hotel.
I spent 6 nights at this hotel Breakfast was good, lunch and dinner was quite terrible. Pool area needs serious upgrading, portable tents with cheap tables were an eye sore. Staff were generally helpful. I stayed on the first floor and the noise factor from the other rooms was an issue. I tried walking down the emergency exit stairs only to be met by a guard who said, No, No Exit here, go back I eventually convinced him to let me exit, but it was a scary ordeal.
